The US Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded 148.3 million USD for 73 airport infrastructure projects. This includes a 61.9 million USD grant to Orlando International Airport (MCO) to expand its existing Terminal C.
This funding is procured through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Airport Infrastructure Grants (AIG) programme, which will provide a total of 15 billion USD over 5 years.
“The funding we announce today will help 70 airports complete vital infrastructure projects that improve safety and efficiency. This is another example of the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to modernising America's aviation system, keeping it safe and efficient for generations to come.”
